For reformer studios
A booking system built around a fixed number of reformers
Amble is a booking system for reformer Pilates studios in the UK. Each class is capped at the number of reformers you have, a late cancellation hands the place to the next person on the waitlist automatically, and clients pay for packs or memberships by card, straight to your Stripe account.
What gets in the way at reformer Pilates studios.
The problem
Every reformer is a fixed cost
A reformer class can’t stretch to fit one more. Overbooking means turning someone away at the door.
With Amble
Set each class’s capacity to your number of reformers. Bookings past capacity go to the waitlist, and two people can’t take the last place at the same moment.
The problem
Late cancels on a full class
An empty reformer at 7am is money you don’t get back, and the people who wanted it were never told.
With Amble
The cancellation window is set per class schedule, in hours, and clients see “Free to cancel until…” when they book. Cancel in time and the credit comes back, and the next person on the waitlist is booked in automatically.
The problem
Waitlists nobody trusts
If joining a waitlist never leads to a place, clients stop joining and start messaging you instead.
With Amble
Clients see where they are in the queue, such as “Waiting · #2”, and are booked in first come, first served when a place opens.
The features that do the work.
Waitlists
Class waitlists that fill themselves: when someone cancels, the next person is booked in automatically, and members can see their place in the queue.

Can clients choose a specific reformer?
Not at the moment. Clients book a place in the class, and the class is capped at the number of reformers you have. If choosing a bed matters to how you run your studio, tell us.
How do late cancellations work?
You set a cancellation window for each class schedule, in hours (four by default). Cancel inside it and the client’s credit comes back automatically; after it, the credit is not returned. Amble doesn’t charge a separate late-cancellation fee.
Do clients know where they are on the waitlist?
Yes. The app shows their position, and when a place opens the next person is booked in automatically, first come, first served.
Can I run mat and reformer classes on one timetable?
Yes. Each class type has its own length, capacity and credit cost, so a reformer class can cost more credits than a mat class.
How do clients pay?
By card, through Stripe, straight to your own Stripe account. On paid plans Amble takes no cut of payments.

How to run a class waitlist members trust
Most waitlists are decoration. What makes one credible: automatic promotion, no offer left hanging, a visible place in the queue, and honesty.
